Building Quadcopter Workshop
Quadcopter Workshop
Workshop on Building Advanced Quadcopters - Approx 8-10 Hours

A quadcopter, also called a quadrotor helicopter or quadrotor, is a multirotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors. Quadcopters are classified as rotorcraft, as opposed to fixed-wing aircraft, because their lift is generated by a set of rotors (vertically oriented propellers) - Source: wikipedia

In India quadcopter drones are getting more and more popular for couple of reasons.

1. It is interesting and fun to fly a quadcopter as a hobbyist.
2. It is an interesting and practically educating subject for engineering students, diploma students, science students and other hobbyists as its building involves knowledge in electronics, computer science, aeronautical engineering and mechanical engineering. It also has a requirement to learn piloting of drones.

Here at Probiz IT & ITES training center, we help you to realize your dream to learn building quadcopter drones. We will be able to teach you very effectively as we have students as young as 10 years learning the subject theoretically and practically.

Let us take up the challenge of building an advanced quadcopter with the use of open source based flight controller, open source flight setup and monitoring software along with advanced modules like GPS, Telemetry and Sonar.

We would be using

1. APM (Ardupilot) flight controller
2. Mission Planner

Course Duration: 8-10 hours

Course Highlights:
  • Discussion on design & development of Quadcopter drones
  • Learning about parts and modules used in building quadcopter
  • Tools required
  • Procurement of parts
  • Learning Frames
  • Learning electronics - Flight Controller (Microcontroller, Gyroscope, Barometer, Accelerometer, Compass etc), Motors, ESC, BEC, Battery, chargers, GPS, Telemetry, Sonar, Camera, Gimbal etc,.
  • Learning TX and RX (Transmitter & Receiver)
  • Safety tips while assembling, testing and flying of quadcopters
  • Assembling, configuring, calibrating and testing
  • Notification on drones by The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India

Anybody interested in developing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Drones can attend this workshop.

The course is more apt for engineering and diploma students in electronics, electrical, computer science and mechanical branches as they can develop advanced project ideas based on this foundation.

Note: Special workshop offers for colleges. Contact: Ganesh Laxmanmurthy at 9343933999

Very Important Note: As per the notification from 'The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India', in 2014, flying of drones is banned in Indian airspace untill further notification. DCGA has issued draft guidelines in 2016 for UAVs in India and we have to wait untill the new law comes in to force to legally fly drones. | All Rights Reserved
